Rainwater Catchment | indoor use | toilet & laundry
Rainwater catchment systems capture and store rainwater for use indoors for laundry machines and to flush toilets. Using rainwater indoors for laundry and to flush toilets makes sense in areas with long dry summers when rainwater is not available for landscape irrigation, or locating large storage tanks is not an option.

At the Meckler Residence, WaterSprout installed a rainwater catchment system in a small courtyard area which gravity feeds rainwater to their toilet. This compact system delivers a 6 month supply of toilet water, without using pumps or electricity, yet allows the client to easily switch back to city water when the cisterns run dry.
