Rainwater catchment systems capture and store rainwater for use indoors for laundry machines and to flush toilets. Using rainwater indoors for laundry and to flush toilets makes sense in areas with long dry summers when rainwater is not available for landscape irrigation, or locating large storage tanks is not an option.

Parker Residence

At the Parker Residence, WaterSprout designed and installed a rainwater catchment system to supply rainwater for toilet and laundry water. Two 500 gallon pillow tanks installed under the deck store enough water to supply toilet and laundry water through the winter and spring. This system is the first permitted rainwater catchment system in the San Francisco Bay Area for toilet and laundry use.
